Make: Cakes I'd Like To Eat

/

25 June, 2014

June seems to be a month full of birthdays. There are family birthdays and birthdays of close friends. Every day I'm met with birthday reminders on Facebook or see on Instagram that it's a cyber buddies' birthday. And at the end of the month there's MY birthday (insert all of the confetti emoji). Birthday celebrations have always been my favourite because birthdays = cake. While there's less of an emphasis on cake and parties as I get older, that doesn't mean I'll forgo them entirely. Sure, the celebrations might become more low-key but the cake still has to stay. Even if it's a cheap supermarket bought mud cake. So, to celebrate the month of cake, these are just some swoon-worthy cakes that I wouldn't mind having a slice of. 1. Sprinkles are always a winner! Plus they're especially birthday-y.

  2. Hollie always bakes herself a cake for her birthday so I've sent her this. She loves baking btw.

    1. Oh excellent. I think one or two of these cakes are smaller servings so they'd be perfect for bake it yourself situations.
