instagram diaries: xmas-nye

Wishing everyone a very happy New Year! I hope you all have had an enjoyable end to 2012 and here's to 2013 and all the promise that it brings. Let's do this right.

1. New toy. Thanks Santa.
2. A 102 year old book of Dickens' Christmas stories that once belonged to my great-grandma.
3. Summer snacks.
4. Summer thirst quencher.
5. Watching NYE fireworks from a distance.
6. The first sunset of 2013. A pretty spectacular end to the first day of the year!

    1. I inherited pretty much a whole set of Dickens' novels. They do a mighty fine job of sitting on my bookshelf - they're too delicate to read!

That book of Christmas stories is gorgeous. I have a Peter Pan book that was published in 1930 and it's one of my favourite possessions :).
