outfit: pattern clash

This is probably the closest I've gotten so far to working the whole clashing patterns trend. Of course, stripes were a must (this top is easily the workhorse of my wardrobe). If there was ever a beginners guide to mixing patterns and prints, I'm sure 'start with stripes' would be right up there. This skirt happens to be one of the pieces I picked up on my recent tour of the new General Pants store at Carindale and I can quickly see it becoming a favourite this summer.

  1. You look great! You know i'm a stripe lover too :)

I'm not someone who has really clashed prints that much either but I like your attempt at it - looks good! Maybe I should give it a go.

  9. You really can't go wrong with stripes. I have a top from Aubin and Wills that I was a little hesitant to buy, but I'm so glad I did! Now, to find the perfect clashing skirt... Send me some of your thrifting skills, please? You do always seem to find the most amazing stuff xx
