instagram diaries: cold comforts

Earlier this month I found myself struck down with a pretty horrible cold. As well as consuming multiple cups of tea and honey-lemon drinks, these are a few things that helped make me feel better and less like a snotty mess. What are your favourite pick-me-ups when you're not feeling 100%?

1. Rugging up in comfy clothes with cute details.
2. Living off a diet of pumpkin soup.
3 & 4. Fresh flowers = mood enhancers.
5. Online shopping (these Topshop shoes only just arrived yesterday).
6. Little purchases to fill the void of waiting on online shopping orders.

  1. I've been sick with a cold as well, and honey-lemon drinks work wonders! Hope you're feeling better soon. I like to snuggle up and watch my favourite shows online.

  2. I live off honey-lemon drinks when I'm sick as well, such a good cause.
Loving the Frankie mags and bottle used as a vase.

  4. i hope you are feelin' better now, m'dear! these photographs are lovely, i can't wait to see how you style up your new shoes! when i'm ill watching endless reruns of my favourite programmes and drinking hot ribena work for me. i've been treating myself to fresh flowers more often now too, i can get a nice bunch for £3 from my local supermarket so it's not an expensive habit at all. xxx

    1. Much better thanks! Never tried hot ribena tea, might give it a go next time. My first thought about the shoes was maybe with some cuffed boyfriend style jeans, but we'll see.

    1. I got it from Cotton On last year for the bargain price of $10! haha. It actually has hearts all over it but I liked how one ended up right there on the sleeve.
