may aw2011

In most instances, Autumn/Winter collections in Australia simply involve the addition of long sleeved shirts and maybe pants. You'd be forgiven for thinking this was a Spring/Summer collection. Either way, I'm quite enamoured with this latest offering from the label May. Sage green, tan, and asphalt colours are accompanied by animal print accents. Ruffle details on the garments also add a sweet touch. This collection is striking yet extremely wearable. How cute is the animal print bow front dress? Actually, anything with animal print here is a winner. My favourites would have to include the 'Charlie' suede tee dress and the 'Sunday Curve' dress in animal/tan suede - neither of which seem to be available on their online store yet. Bummer.

  4. ha, that's so true, we don't really have a proper winter, or winter collections for that matter. My poor lovely winter coat hardly gets an outing.

But I do love this collection, particularly the combination of the patterns and palette.
